Owen had been asking if he could use his allowance to buy ice cream from the ice cream truck all winter through the beginning of spring. Sarah told him that the ice cream man does not come around in winter or spring. Then one day in April as they were out running errands, they saw the truck and heard the bell.
Owen said,
Huh!! See, just like I said! The ice cream man comes in the springtime. Make sure to tell Daddy the good news!”
