Owen started naming off all the animals that he liked. “I like lions, sharks, fish, giraffes, foxes, wolves…..” Sarah started tuning him out and suddenly heard, “….and chickens….” She stopped him and said, “You like chickens!?!” He nodded his head up and down very slowly and said, Well, I’m getting there.
Man, my heart is beeping! –Owen, 3 1/2, after running around a lot one day.
Owen was watching Daddy clean out the gutters. He said, Look, Daddy is throwing some leaves on the grillor (grill).
Sacks – “Do you know what ‘sacks’ means? It means a town where puppies go to get yummy dog food.” Dank – “It means happy.” Pennsylvania – “It means something you write with” (example: a pencil) Sorling – “It means you want to warm up by the heater.”
When we were in North Platte we went to the Golden Spike Tower. Owen looked at all the tracks and trains and said excitedly, We must be in train country!
